Since 1999, the Urban Music Association of Canada has produced and hosted the Canadian Urban Music Awards. The Canadian Urban Music Awards is a celebration of the best & brightest in Canada's urban music industry who drive the urban music scene in Canada.
The CUMAs, UMAC's flagship event, is a significant entertainment brand for industry stakeholders, artists, fans and sponsors. The awards attract major media attention, which is a testament to the growing international profile of Canadian urban music and its stars.
