UMAC & The Western Canadian Music Awards present Urban X-Posure: Plan Your Work So You Can Work Your Plan!!!

 

This workshop will prep independent artists, regardless of genre, with the basic tools they need in Canada to launch a solid career, utilizing their music and talents, along with resources and necessary armaments required to navigate the new music landscape in this country.

Urban X-Posure will explore everything from on stage banter to moving & highlighting your musical expression in the Digital Age, effective grant writing and PR.

In addition, the workshop takes the panelists suggestions and activates them with a demo listening session followed by a showcase performance featuring two emerging urban acts from Western Canada. Unique to these sessions is the integral feedback provided to the artists that not only comes from the industry expert speakers, but the audience as well.
